Basil was found abandoned and dumped on the side of the road by our local bunny rescue shelter in early 2020. She was underweight, frightened, and nervous.

Basil's hooman saw her at the rescue shelter and fell in love at first sight. The rescue shelter warned that she may not recover from her traumatic past.

We adopted Basil to her furever home on May 23, 2020. Since that day, Basil continues to surprise us every day with her kindness, loving, and smart soul. She is a free roam bunny and openly hops around our two-story home. Basil has learned over 7 tricks, flops & binkies through the day, and gives us immense cuddles & kisses. Basil has touched our hearts forever, and we hope she touches yours too.
